Cassette Week: Creative direction, social design and illustration

 Cassette Week

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN creative Direction and Illustration

Role:

For this ongoing project since 2020, I collaborated closely with organizers on mood boards and concepts, independently handling all aspects of creative direction and design for multiple touch points including social, media materials, banners, merchandise and website.

Case:

Cassette Week is an annual week-long, multi-platform event promoting analog cassette tape recordings for independent bands, labels, and music stores. Each year has a unique campaign concept, look and feel relating to cassette culture that we use to promote new and limited edition releases from bands and labels to niche and mainstream music media.

2020:
Grab your Walkman, it’s the 80’s!

2021: A Salute to Lou Ottens

In memory of the inventor of cassette tapes, who died in 2020, the 2021 theme was inspired by the decade when cassettes became king, the 1970’s.

2022: The last time you bought a cassette, the 90’s!

2023: Retro Risograph,
Keeping it Analog!
